Job description

Job Title: Clinical Negligence Solicitor
Location: Leeds
Salary: £32,000 to £50,000
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full caseload of clinical negligence claims from initial instruction through to resolution, including settlement or trial.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, including reviewing medical records, liaising with medical experts, and assessing the viability of claims.
  • Draft key legal documents such as letters of claim, witness statements, pleadings, and schedules of loss.
  • Negotiate settlements through pre-action protocols and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
  • Prepare cases for litigation, ensuring all court deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
  • Provide clear, empathetic advice to clients throughout the claims process, ensuring they are fully supported and informed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional legal services while upholding the firm's strong reputation.
