A leading healthcare provider in Cornwall is seeking a fixed-term Clinical Fellow (ST3+) to contribute to the management of infection under consultant supervision. The role offers educational opportunities, supports the new inpatient infection service, and requires effective communication skills. Under the supervision of consultant staff, the post holder will contribute to and gain experience in the prevention, diagnosis and management of infection. The post holder will participate fully in the laboratory process, validating the results produced by the laboratory and providing clinical advice to clinical colleagues with respect to Microbiology results and diagnostic procedures distinguishing between infectious and non-infectious processes.
