BERMUDA CLINICAL DIETICIAN JOB

IMS Recruitment’s client operates modern hospitals and community healthcare in Bermuda offering high standards of care from its international workforce.

IMS is now seeking an experienced and motivated CLINICAL DIETICIAN.

Key responsibilities include
  • Serving as nutrition consultant to the health care team(s) and providing direct and indirect nutrition care to patients
  • Identifying and assessing patients that are at nutritional risk, patients on therapeutic diets and patients with complex medical conditions for individual needs
  • Monitoring patient’s progress for efficacy of nutritional intervention, provides reassessment of nutritional status, and adjusts nutrition care plan according to established protocols
  • Providing counselling and education to patients/significant others regarding drug-nutrient interactions, nutrition intervention or therapeutic diets as appropriate.

Requirements
  • Bachelor or Masters of Science from an accredited University with a major in Nutrition/Dietetics.
  • A minimum of one-year post internship experience in a clinical hospital setting, within the past three years.
  • Must demonstrate ability to provide independent clinical nutrition care services to a wide range of patients with simple to very complex medical nutritional therapy.
  • Eligible for licensing with the Bermudan Council for Allied Health Professions.
  • Relocation required
