Job description

Cooneen Group is looking for a Client Relationship Manager to join our team in either Fivemiletown or Manchester. In this role, you ll be at the heart of our Cooneen at Work and Cooneen Defence divisions, building strong client relationships and driving growth across our business.

You ll have the opportunity to build relationships with existing clients, uncover new opportunities and deliver innovative products/services that elevate the customer experience.

What You ll Do
  • Drive upselling efforts to achieve KPIs and increase sales within existing contracts.
  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities for profitable sales growth.
  • Collaborate with your manager to quantify opportunities through project studies and justifications.
  • Plan and organise innovation events for each customer on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with internal teams to assess the current product and service range and support continuous improvement.
  • Lead quarterly innovation and improvement sessions, events, or meetings to foster account growth.
  • Develop and maintain Account Development Plans, outlining growth strategies and improvement initiatives to support account retention and success during tender releases.
  • Monitor and report on upselling performance, innovation activities, and customer engagement metrics.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing, construction, or retail environment.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue and profitability, including developing and executing growth strategies.
  • Experience successfully launching new products and/or services into the market.
  • Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite.
  • Willing to undertake travel across the UK and Europe when required.
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Experience in the clothing industry, including production control, planning, merchandising, or technical roles.
  • Qualification in a business or manufacturing‑related discipline.
  • Educated to A‑level or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
