This is a fantastic opportunity to be working with a well-established practice that's highly regarded all across Yorkshire. They're seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their friendly and long standing team in York to come on board as a Client Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met
  • Prepare annual accounts and tax computations for more complex assignments
  • Review and gather personal tax return information
  • Hold client meetings to discuss financial statements, tax positions and planning opportunities
  • Allocate work to colleagues and provide guidance, support and feedback
  • Review work for accuracy, presentation and adherence to internal procedures
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client service or introduce additional services
Requirements
  • UK Practice Experience is essential
  • Ideally needs to be qualified (ACCA/ACA) however QBE candidates will be considered
  • Excellent technical skills with good knowledge of accounting principles
  • Confident managing client relationships and handling queries
  • Positive, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
