Overview

Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists are recruiting for a professional Client Care Team Member to join the on-site Client Care Team in Winchester. This is a part-time position working 18 hours per week over 3 days with weekend/bank holiday cover as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Meeting and greeting clients in a professional, yet sensitive manner
  • Answering the telephone, dealing with queries, transferring calls, and taking messages where applicable
  • Liaising with referring vets and accurately recording details
  • Updating in-house notes system clearly and accurately
  • Coordinating appointments with the animals owners
  • Discussing finances and pet Insurance details
  • Taking card and cash payments
  • Accurately carrying out departmental filing
  • Building good working relationships with colleagues at all levels
  • Assisting with any other ad hoc duties when requested
Role pattern

The role involves shift working, with a combination of early and late shifts, on a fixed two-week rota. Occasional weekend and Bank Holiday cover is also required.

Qualifications and experience
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Be passionate about animals
  • Be able to provide first class customer service
  • Be eligible to work in the United Kingdom
  • Previous customer service experience is essential
  • Reception experience is desirable; however not essential as full training will be given
