Job description

Clerk of Works required working on my clients Solar Farm projects around the UK.

Please note you must have :

• A valid CSCS card.
• Full driving licence.

Job purpose :

Your main primary duties will be the following : inspect workmanship, quality, and safety to ensure all work aligns with the contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Core general duties of a Clerk of Works applicable to a Solar Farm, include :

• Documentation and Reporting :

• Liaison and Coordination :

Technical & Industry Knowledge :

• Experience working on a Solar Farm.
• Construction Expertise : Deep understanding of building trades, materials, methods, and complex specifications.
• Legal Compliance : Knowledge of Building Regulations, Health & Safety laws, and contract law (JCT, NHBC) etc…
• Inspection Skills : Ability to diagnose defects, check work against drawings, and assess material quality.
• IT Skills : Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook), data recording, and potentially CAD / BIM software.
