About the Role:

Sodexo is looking for a Cleaning Operative to join our team in Inchinnan, PA4 9RQ. You will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across our facilities, including meeting rooms, classrooms, and toilets. If you take pride in high standards of cleanliness and enjoy working as part of a team, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean designated areas efficiently and to Sodexo's high standards.
  • Use cleaning equipment, materials, and agents safely, following COSHH training and line manager instructions.
  • Report faulty equipment, safety hazards, or maintenance issues immediately.
  • Ensure all safety signage is used appropriately (e.g., wet floor signs).
  • Maintain cleaning stores and equipment in a tidy, safe, and organized manner.
  • Monitor material usage and report low stock levels to your line manager.
  • Attend training and team meetings to maintain standards and improve skills.
  • Provide cover in other areas when required.
  • Follow all company and client policies, including health & safety, hygiene, and security regulations.
Skills & Requirements
  • Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials, and health & safety regulations (COSHH) is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in a clean, hygienic workplace.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and physically able to carry out cleaning duties.
