Location: Orchard Court, Orchard Street, Renfrew, PA4 8RZ

Working Hours: 24 hours per week

Remuneration: £12.60 per hour + Pension & Benefits

Hanover are recruiting for a friendly and positive individual to join us as a Development Cleaner. This permanent position involves working part-time Monday to Friday 24 hours per week. The efforts of the Development Cleaner are truly appreciated as the team work to ensure our customers feel safe and secure at home, living full and independent lives.

Main Responsibilities

As the Development Cleaner your contributions towards our positive and professional atmosphere will include:

  • Cleaning common areas i.e. offices, corridors, kitchens, lounge, staff room.
  • Cleaning development lavatories, accommodation, bath, and shower areas etc.
  • Sanitising surfaces, furniture and office equipment as required by rota.
  • Removal of waste and preparation of guest bedrooms.
  • Working in accordance with infection prevention control, COSSHH, Health and Safety guidelines.
About You
Essential
  • To join us, you need to have a genuine passion for helping people.
  • Demonstrable experience of empathising with and caring for the elderly.
  • A flexible approach to work with a can‑do attitude.
  • Able to follow cleaning schedules and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with basic writing skills.
Desirable
  • You’ll also need some ICT skills so that you can access e‑learning programs as well as the company portal.
  • Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Kitchen Hygiene certificate.
