A local educational institution in Minehead is seeking a Cleaner to maintain high cleanliness standards across the school. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of classrooms, managing cleaning supplies, and collaborating with the site team. Ideal candidates will have experience in cleaning and a strong awareness of legislation related to working with children. The offered salary is £12.65 per hour for 10 hours of work per week, during term time and an additional 2 weeks.
An opportunity has arisen at Minehead First School for a Cleaner to join our team, taking pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our learners by keeping cleanliness to a high standard and undertaking necessary procedures to assist with day-to-day maintenance.
As part of our wider school team, you will have responsibility for the overall cleanliness and security of the school classrooms and site, having awareness of security policies, maintaining supplies of cleaning materials, and working with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by leadership and management.
You’ll have the opportunity to join a committed team of support staff, taking pride in upholding high standards to ensure all staff can enjoy working within a safe and clean environment, with training opportunities available and the ability to make a positive difference within the overall team.
This position will be offered to the successful candidate subject to references and obtaining the necessary clearances.
