Qualifications

• Previous experience is advantageous but not required; full training will be provided.
• Full UK driving license (Manual, 6 points or less).
• Ability to pass fit for a PCV pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all areas of the workshop are clean, tidy, and organized.
• Clean vehicles to comply with company standards.
• Assist the storekeeper as required.
• Maintain a clean fuelling area and remove hazards.
• Perform daily sweeps and mops with occasional deep interior cleans.

The role of a Cleaner/Fueller/Shunter will involve:

• Ensuring that all areas of the workshop are clean, tidy and organised
• Clean vehicles to comply with Arriva standards and ensure that all records are maintained correctly
• Assisting the storekeeper as required
• Ensure the fuelling area is clean and any hazards are removed prior to work
• Carry out daily sweep and mop with deep interior cleans occasionally
• To fully understand and comply with all company and statutory relating health & safety and working practices and all company working policies and procedures

Requirements of a Cleaner/Fueller/Shunter:
