Job summary

A local school in Birmingham is looking to recruit an enthusiastic cleaner/keyholder for early morning and afternoon shifts. The role can be split into 1 or 2 positions offering 10 to 15 hours of work per week. Candidates must have experience in cleaning and adhere to health and safety regulations. Job description

Our ‘Good School’ (OFSTED, October 2021) is looking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic cleaner and/or keyholder.

Responsibilities
  • Be conscientious, hardworking and reliable
  • Be able to communicate effectively with a range of different stakeholders
  • Be aware of and understand the authority’s regulation e.g. H&S and COSHH guidelines
  • Have previous experience of cleaning
  • Ensure the premises and furnishings are cleaned in accordance with school standards.
  • Able to operate cleaning equipment, machinery and tools and undertake basic maintenance
  • Ability to carry out procedures, routines and follow instructions.

The hours are 6am-8am or 3pm - 6pm (Monday to Friday)

We are happy to split this role over 1 or 2 positions (10 hours per week or 15 hours per week)
