Key Responsibilities:

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in creating a positive and productive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and providing targeted support to pupils, both one-on-one and in small groups.

  • Helping to implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a respectful and focused classroom.

  • Organising and preparing classroom materials and displays to create an engaging learning space.

  • Observing pupils' progress and providing valuable feedback to the teacher.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable, or you must have significant, demonstrable experience in a primary school setting.

  • An Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).

  • The legal right to work in the UK without any restrictions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A patient and adaptable approach.

  • A genuine desire to help every child thrive.
