SENDhelp's partner school in Lewisham is seeking an outstanding Class Teacher (QTS) to join their KS2 Severe Learning Difficulties / Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD) class from February half-term. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work in a purpose-built, exceptionally well-resourced special school, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, supporting pupils with complex and profound needs. The school is a specialist provision for pupils aged 4-11 with SLD / PMLD, many of whom also have additional complex needs including autism. Classrooms and learning bases are thoughtfully designed to support autism and profound learning difficulties. The learning environment is fully accessible and carefully tailored to meet high levels of need. The school works closely with Lewisham SEN services and maintains strong links with therapeutic professionals.
