Job Overview

Temp to perm class 2 position located in Rochester. Newly qualified drivers accepted. Assessments available after 5th January.

Compensation & Hours

Salary: £43,680 per annum plus up to £1,300 quarterly bonus. 48 hours per week. OT is paid on a 6th shift only.

Bonus may be reduced by factors such as attendance, accidents, scanning, health and safety compliance, and early/late deliveries.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Start times: 4am‑6am (must have own transport). Shifts average 12 hours; average hours equal 48 hours over the reference period.

Shift Flexibility

Monday to Friday, with the contract allowing any 5 of 7 days. At peak, flexibility may be required to cover business needs.

Maximum of 6 points; no DD, CU80, IN. DBS required.

Responsibilities

• Home delivery of kitchens (physically demanding role).
• Work as a 2‑man crew.
• Porter to make customer phone calls with ETAs and record deliveries.
• Deliveries must be made within the delivery time window and to the customer’s room of choice.
• All products must be scanned.
• Report any parking issues to delivery support or the transport office; having a record protects you from tickets.
• Be aware of the 7 cameras on the vehicle (5 around and 2 in the back) and operate in accordance with training.
• Vehicles are loaded overnight; you unload at the delivery point.
• Good timekeeping is essential.
