Job description

HGV Class 2 Driver - Loughborough - Temporary to Permanent - Immediate Start

Delivery of palletised packaging materials to customers. The Driver will deliver to between 6 and 8 drops Midlands based - Occasionally drops in London. There is no hand-balling required for this role.

After 16 weeks with The Best Connection drivers will have a permanent option.

The shift pattern involves:

07:30 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday

07:30 - 14.00 Friday

Average weekly hours are around 40

Pay: £14.00 p/h

Requirements

• A full UK driving licence with category C entitlement - Valid CPC required
• 2 Years experience
• No more than 3 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC, TT99 or IN10 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years

Driver Responsibilities

• Check the vehicle regularly and report any issues
• Drive safely and follow all traffic laws
• Deliver goods on time, in full and to the correct areas in client premises
• Keep records of deliveries, mileage, and issues
• Report delays, accidents, or problems to the site manager
