Class 1 Driver

Pay: Monday to Friday - £17.93 per hour inclusive of your holiday pay.

Shifts and Hours

• Monday to Friday - no weekends
• Start time: 06:00 am
• 8 hours guaranteed per shift

Location: Coventry - commutable from Coventry, Rugby, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Banbury, Kenilworth, Wellesbourne, Stratford‑upon‑Avon, Southam and surrounding areas.

The Role

This is a temporary Class 1 Driver role with potential to become permanent. Responsibilities include trunking delivery work: packaging distribution, with typically one run and 1-3 drops per shift. The driver transports palletised packaging across England, with no handball duties and all deliveries unloaded by an FLT at the point of delivery. Duties also cover safe loading, vehicle checks, and compliance with driving regulations. Training will be provided on the job. The driver must be confident completing vehicle checks and defect paperwork.
