Job description

We are now recruiting for Class 1 Drivers to join our team on a Full-time and Permanent basis.

Shift:

• Variety of shift patterns on AM START TIMES.
• Variety of shift patterns on PM START TIMES FROM 16:00.

Salary/Hourly Rates:

• Mon-Fri Days - £15.00 per hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
• Mon-Fri Night Shift - £16.30 per hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
• Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £18.00 per hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
• Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £18.50 per hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
• Bank Holidays - £18.81 per hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).

Job Description

The role will be based at our Tesco Daventry campus and will include stores, trunking work, and general haulage. Being based on a Tesco site, you will use a variety of Stobart and Tesco equipment. While the role includes Stobart work, you will also be expected to support the wider Culina network when needed.

Qualifications

• You will need 6 months of Class 1 experience.
• You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card.
• No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/DR Code convictions.
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and report defects correctly.
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
