Job summary

A staffing agency is hiring a Claims Handler in Plymouth to manage customer claims from initiation to settlement. You will ensure claims are processed in compliance with internal and regulatory standards while communicating effectively with customers and third parties. Ideal candidates have prior experience in claims handling or customer service, strong communication skills, and attention to detail. This temporary role offers approximately 35 hours a week at a pay rate of £12.97 per hour.

Claims Handler Wanted!!

Angard Staffing is the dedicated provider of Claims Handler’s for the Royal Mail. Due to an increase in workload volumes, we are looking for candidates who have a passion for customer service to join the team on a temporary basis at our key site in Plymouth.

As a Claims Handler, you will manage a portfolio of customer claims from initial notification through to settlement. You’ll be the key point of contact for customers, ensuring claims are processed efficiently, fairly, and in line with internal and regulatory standards.

Job Details
  • Role: Claims Handler
  • Location: Plymouth, PL9 7HJ
  • Start Dates: 24/11/2025 (other start dates available in Dec & Jan)
  • Pay Rate: £12.97 per hour
  • Contract: Temporary (up to 12 weeks, with potential extension)
  • Hours: Around 35 hours per week, between the hours of 8:00am – 18:00pm Monday – Friday

*Annual leave is not permitted during the first two weeks of training - minimal annual leave after this may be authorised if it is pre-booked however cannot be guaranteed*
