Sizewell C Project Controls is the centre of excellence for performance management, enabling successful delivery of the SZC Project through proactive, forward-looking solutions.
Reporting to the Head of Civils Works PMO, this cross-cutting role works with Programme Controls Managers, Schedulers, Cost Managers, Reporting and Risk Managers across the Civils Works Programme (CWP). As Programme Controls Manager, you will own and drive Project Controls across one or more sub-programmes, ensuring alignment with SZC's governance model. You'll lead deployment, assurance, and continuous improvement, championing innovation and supporting SZC's ambition to be "Digital by Default" in Project Controls.
You will directly manage a team of Project Controls professionals across cost, schedule, risk, change, and reporting. Over time, your leadership responsibilities may expand further as the programme evolves.

The Sizewell C team is one of the most exciting and largest new megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK's climate change agenda and energy policy. We have begun constructing a 3.2-gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast in the East of England replicating, wherever possible, the design used for Hinkley Point C, another nuclear power station being built in Somerset.
When built, Sizewell C will be one of the largest power stations to operate in the UK. The power station will generate low carbon electricity for at least 60 years, supplying over 6 million homes and supporting around 7% of the UK's current electricity needs.
