Job summary

A leading global engineering and construction company is seeking a Civil Work Superintendent for its Liverpool Bay Decommissioning & Carbon Capture project. This full-time role, offering £600 per day, demands 15-20 years of civil works experience. Responsibilities include overseeing civil works, managing construction schedules, producing progress reports, and ensuring safety and quality standards. The company fosters a collaborative, safety-focused working environment, and this position is outside IR35.

Qualifications

  • 15-20 years' experience in civil works, ideally as site manager, superintendent or similar.
  • Strong skills in civil supervision, dewatering, piling and team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Promote safe working practices and environmental protection.
  • Oversee all civil works to meet project quality, contractual and technical requirements.
  • Develop and manage construction schedules, coordinating resources effectively.
  • Ensure cost-efficient execution of civil activities.
  • Produce progress reports, highlight deviations and propose corrective actions.
  • Monitor productivity and interface with the wider project team.
  • Support resolution of civil engineering issues during execution.
  • Manage technical and administrative documentation.
  • Achieve MC certification and punch-list clearance.
