A leading steel manufacturing company in Port Talbot is seeking a Civil Engineer to support Project Invictus, a transformative initiative in the UK steelmaking sector. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in construction or heavy industry, excellent communication skills, and strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety regulations. Qualifications

  • Proven experience within a large construction, industrial, or power site.
  • Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Previous experience conducting site management.
  • Strong UK Health and Safety knowledge within a high-risk environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the civil engineering within Project Invictus.
  • Review inspection reports on civil/structural engineering assets.
  • Develop a process for reducing inspection reports.
  • Generate necessary documentation for the emerging works department.
  • Analyse and interpret information from the electronic system.

Time served apprenticeship in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
