Job summary

A multidisciplinary consultancy in Royal Leamington Spa is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team. This role involves preparing Flood Risk Assessments and designing highways and drainage systems. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, experience within a UK design consultancy, and proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, and AutoCAD. The position offers a salary of £32,000 – £40,000 along with benefits such as 25 days of holiday, a pension scheme, and private health insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience within a UK design consultancy.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Preparing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) designs.
• Providing pre-planning advice and supporting early-stage project planning.
• Designing highways and drainage infrastructure, including S38, S278 and S104 agreements.
• Applying knowledge of building regulations, external works, and ground-level design.
• Producing detailed drawings and reports using AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, and Civil 3D.
