Overview

Access Talent Group is collaborating with an industry-leading engineering consultancy in Cork, seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their growing team. This role involves overseeing your own projects with support from experienced Directors and a talented engineering team, and working on a wide range of road, marine, and related projects throughout Ireland. You will prepare tender submission proposals, manage clients, and mentor junior team members.

Our client collaborates with top developers in Ireland’s public and private sectors to provide premier civil, structural, and traffic engineering services. They value innovation and continuous improvement, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Manage your own projects with support from Directors and the engineering team.
  • Deliver road, marine, and related civil projects across Ireland.
  • Prepare tender submissions and proposals; manage client relationships and business development activities.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Ireland, the UK, or Europe is preferred.
  • Strong technical engineering skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, design teams, and contractors.
  • Familiarity with civil engineering software such as Civil 3D or drainage modeling software.
