• Knowledge of 17th/18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations is essential.

Mobile Chiller Engineer – FM Service Provider – London & South East – Up to £60,000

My Client is a leading provider of innovative HVAC and refrigeration solutions, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and cutting‑edge technology to our diverse client base. They specialise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial chiller systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency for our customers.

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Mobile Chiller Engineer to cover London and the South East. The successful candidate will travel from site to site to carry out planned maintenance and reactive maintenance on chillers.

The role offers a competitive salary of up to £60,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression, plus a comprehensive benefits package:

• Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 17:00 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Pre‑ventive Maintenance (PPM): Conduct routine maintenance on a range of chiller systems – air‑cooled, water‑cooled, absorption and adiabatic – to ensure optimal performance.
• Fault Diagnosis & Repair: Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults efficiently, performing repairs on compressors, condensers, evaporators, control systems, pumps and pipework.
• F‑Gas Management: Carry out leak detection, recovery and recharging in strict compliance with F‑Gas regulations.
• System Optimisation: Identify opportunities for improvement, advising clients on best practices and potential upgrades.
• Client Interaction: Liaise professionally, explain work conducted, identify further needs and build strong relationships.
• Documentation & Reporting: Complete accurate service reports, timesheets, expense submissions and other admin tasks promptly, using mobile technology.
• Health & Safety: Adhere strictly to all company and site‑specific health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and method statements.
• On‑Call Rota: Participate in a 14‑week on‑call rota for emergency breakdowns.
• Technical Support: Provide guidance and support to junior technicians or apprentices when appropriate.

Requirements

• 17th/18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations knowledge
• IOSH or NEBOSH safety qualifications
• CSCS Card, IPAF, PASMA certification
• Experience with building management systems (BMS) and controls
• Familiarity with absorption chillers
