Overview

Job Role: Children's Social Worker

Job Location: Floor 1, Town Hall, NE33 2RL

Salary: £30 - £40 Per Hour

Working Period: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Assignment Period: 6 months (temporary contract)

Key Responsibilities

• We are committed to ensuring all children cared for in South Tyneside have what they need to meet their potential.
• Work within a highly regarded, efficient and caring service as part of a two social work teams with a Practice Manager, Assistant Team Manager and six social workers.
• Based at the MarketPlace alongside colleagues in Leaving Care, Kinship, Fostering, Virtual School and Participation.
• Work in a small team where you will benefit from strong guidance and oversight and access to a management team that is visible and approachable.
