Children's Support Worker Term-Time Only, School Hours

Location: Shrewsbury
Hours: 2 days a week - Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:45am3:15pm (Term-Time Only) - but with flexibility to cover all 5 days Mon-Fri when needed
Pay: £12.25£13 per hour (depending on experience)
Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement)

We\'re looking for a female Children\'s Support Worker to provide 1:1 care for a 16-year-old girl in her special needs school setting. You\'ll be there to offer reassurance, practical support, and kindness every single day.

Your Working Pattern
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays | 8:45am3:15pm

  • Must be flexible to cover all 5 days Monday-Friday when other Support Worker is off

Your Role Will Include
  • Providing 1:1 support during school hours

  • Assisting with medical needs including gastrostomy care and insulin administration

  • Supporting communication and promoting inclusion in school activities

  • Working alongside the school team to ensure a safe, fun, and engaging environment

Full clinical training will be providedyou don\'t need previous medical experience, just the right attitude and commitment.
