Qualifications

• 1 years relevant supervisory experience.
• 12 months experience of working in a residential setting with young people with challenging behaviour.
• Current driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager in achieving aims and objectives.
• Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager.
• Manage staff to meet needs of children and young people.

Knowledge of National Minimum Standards

Ability to manage teams effectively

Education

NVQ 3 in caring for Children and Young People

Secondary Education with good standard of literacy and numeracy
