Qualifications

  • Ability to manage staff inductions and supervisions effectively.
  • Strong understanding of Children’s Home Regulations.

Job description

In this role, you will support the Registered Manager in all aspects of home management, taking the lead on shift to delegate tasks and ensure that all records and care plans meet high standards. You'll lead care planning, reviews and ensure compliance with Children’s Home Regulations. As a mentor and guide, you will promote effective teamwork while managing staff inductions, supervisions and appraisals. You will champion our young people by supporting their choices, encouraging independence, and responding to challenges with compassion and confidence. Additionally, you will liaise with professionals and agencies to provide holistic support, manage on-call duties and consistently uphold company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Manager in all aspects of home management and lead shifts to delegate tasks.

Qualifications

Location: Tarleton or Leyland | Pay: £15.50/hr + £60 sleep‑in | Shifts: 2 on / 4 off
