Job summary

A distinguished care provider in Slough is seeking a passionate Childrens Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed residential home. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with care regulations and fostering a nurturing environment for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. This role requires a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare and experience managing a multi-home service. Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Assistant Manager within a large or multi-home service.
  • Strong background in supporting children and young people with EBD and/or LD.
  • Excellent knowledge of Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 and SCCIF frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational management of the childrens home in line with Ofsted and Childrens Homes Regulations 2015.
  • Ensure all care planning and safeguarding procedures are adhered to and regularly reviewed.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home maintains a minimum Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.
