Qualifications

  • A recognised Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children's Residential Care or willingness to work towards it.
  • Proven experience managing a children's residential home.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and children's rights.

  • Recruit, train, and develop staff, supporting them to reach their full potential.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and administrative responsibilities effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies, families, and professionals to deliver the best outcomes.
Qualifications
  • A recognised Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children's Residential Care or the willingness to work towards it (must already hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent).
  • Proven experience managing a children's residential home.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, children's rights, and residential childcare standards.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including on-call duties.
