Job summary

A leading service provider is seeking a part-time Children’s Activity Assistant at the Leys Leisure Centre in Oxford. In this role, you will supervise activities for children and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in customer service, be enthusiastic and resilient, and possess strong communication skills. Children’s Activity Assistant – Serco Limited

Location: Leys Leisure Centre, Oxford OX4 6JL

Part Time: Casual

Salary: £13.16 per hour + excellent benefits

Serco manages these facilities on a day‑to‑day basis on behalf of the Trust.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clean, safe, and supervised facilities and activities for children of customers at the Leisure Centre.
  • Ensure the smooth operational running of all types of parties the centre holds and provide party guests with first‑class customer service at all times.
  • Facilitate a safe, fun, and professional working environment.
About You
  • Experience dealing with high volumes of children in a busy customer‑based environment.
  • Enthusiastic, resilient, and able to liaise professionally with parents, customers, and workforce members.
  • Good communication skills, able to think on your feet, and willing to learn from others.
