Overview

Location - Mid/North Powys

There are two positions available

About the role

To provide support and guidance to the Early Years preschool settings, out of school settings and childminders. To assist in the development and sustainability of high-quality childcare provision within Powys

About you
  • You will have a thorough knowledge of the Care Inspectorate Wales National Minimum Standards for Regulated Childcare
  • You will be a qualified childcare worker with Level 3 CCPLD or equivalent
  • You will be passionate and driven to provide effective support to the childcare providers in Powys to drive quality, sustainability and sufficiency. - Great organisational skills and the ability to develop positive working relationships with childcare providers and multiple teams and services.
What you will do
  1. Support the development of high quality childcare provision across Powys.
  2. To model high quality adult/child interactions.
  3. To keep up-to date and work within relevant legislation and guidance.
  4. To make links and establish co-operative working with relevant stakeholders.
  5. Support the Early Years Practitioners in settings to have regard for the new ALN Act.
  6. Support the development of new childcare provision and to support the extension, sustainability and continued development of existing provision in areas of identified need.
