We are seeking an ambitious, forward-thinking Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Director team and provide strategic financial leadership during a period of significant organisational growth and opportunity., This is a rare opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation at a pivotal moment, shaping the financial and strategic foundations of a growing multi-neighbourhood provider. You will work alongside committed clinical and executive leaders to help design and deliver the future of community-based care, financially sustainable, socially responsible and rooted in local need., This is a broad executive role that combines financial stewardship, commercial development and system leadership. The CFO will lead the finance function while also playing a pivotal role to securing new contracts, shaping bids and business cases, supporting social and system investment, developed innovative commercial frameworks to helping Nimbuscare grow sustainably within the evolving NHS contractual and collaborative environment.
Working closely with the Chief Executive and fellow Executive Directors, the CFO will help define and deliver Nimbuscares long-term strategy, ensuring the organisation remains financially resilient, values-led and positioned as a trusted partner within the health and care system.
Nimbuscare is a GP-led provider organisation delivering urgent care, community services and neighbourhood-based models of care across York and North Yorkshire. We exist to improve patient outcomes, reduce health inequalities and support the sustainability of primary and community care through collaboration, innovation and strong system partnerships.
As an organisation, we are evolving towards a multi-neighbourhood provider (MNP) model aligned to the future direction of the NHSsupporting care closer to home, prevention, integration and digital transformation. We work in close partnership with general practice, acute trusts, local authorities, voluntary sector organisations and system commissioners.
