Chef – Monday to Friday, Day Shifts

Location: Surrey Police, Guildford

Salary:£15.50 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week, shifts between 7am and 3pm

We’re looking for a motivated Chef to join our kitchen team at a high-profile site in Guildford. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who takes pride in delivering high-quality food and enjoys working in a professional, well-structured environment.

Working Monday to Friday with no evening or weekend shifts, you’ll play a key role in preparing fresh, delicious food and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present high-quality, freshly made dishes across breakfast, lunch, and occasional events

• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control

• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety

• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

• Take responsibility for stock control, labelling, and waste reduction where required
