Qualifications

  • Experience in a busy hotel or restaurant kitchen at Demi CDP or CDP level.
  • Knowledge of various kitchen sections (e.g. larder, sauce, garnish, pastry).
  • Passion for cooking and developing others.
  • Understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures.

  • Own your section: From mise‑en‑place to final plating, you’ll be responsible for delivering quality, consistency, and creativity during each service.
  • Lead and support: Guide and mentor Commis and Demi Chefs, ensuring smooth communication, clean stations, and high morale.
  • Maintain high standards: Follow recipes and presentation specs, while meeting food hygiene and safety standards every step of the way.
  • Manage your resources: Monitor stock levels, place accurate orders, manage portion control, and reduce food waste.
  • Share ideas: Contribute to menu development, daily specials, and plating presentations – your voice matters here.
  • Stay proactive: Report faults, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to keep operations running seamlessly.
