About the role

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Chef de Partie to join their award-winning team and make a positive impact on residents' lives every day. You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to lead a culinary team that provides a nutritionally balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality culinary service that contributes to the overall wellbeing of the residents.

Job responsibilities
  • Take part in meetings with residents and Heads of Departments to discuss and agree catering functions across the home, and address special needs or dietary requirements of residents.
  • Prepare nutritional food and beverages to a high standard, as directed by the Head Chef.
  • Support cost-effective stock control systems to minimise waste and ensure these are in place.
  • Work with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and review the menu on a regular basis.
  • Provide a caring and supportive service in line with Avery’s values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable.
