Job summary

A leading training provider in the UK is looking for an apprenticeship Learning Coach to inspire and support learners within the hospitality industry. You will work closely with learners in various settings, providing guidance and motivation to help them achieve their career qualifications. The ideal candidate has strong culinary and communication skills, holds an NVQ level 2 in Hospitality, and preferably has teaching experience. What will you be doing?

• Working with learners at their place of work, in most cases for many of the UK’s best loved names within the industry.
• Coaching learners on the knowledge skills and behaviours they need to achieve their apprenticeship standard.
• Providing support, guidance and motivation that helps them to get career‑building qualifications.
• Keeping clear records of learner progress, goal setting and achievements through our bespoke learner platform (training provided).

What will you bring to the role?

• Have you got experience in preparing and cooking fresh food in a kitchen environment?
• Have you got experience in working in a front of house restaurant environment?
• NVQ at level2 in Hospitality
• Extensive, relevant vocational experience within a high‑end establishment (Head Chef, Sous Chef, Chef de Partie)
• Experience of preparing, cooking and finishing a substantial range of fresh and seasonal dishes
• Ability to work in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines
• Strong communication and self‑motivation skills
• Ability to working autonomously

It would be great if you had

• Minimum Level 3 Teaching qualification
• NVQ level 2 or 3 in professional cookery
• BTEC level 3 hospitality management
• Previous experience of delivering training in your sector
• Experience of working with or alongside apprentices in your current or previous role
