A leading tax advisory firm in Greater London is seeking UK Chartered Tax Advisers with at least 3 years of post-qualified experience. You will work on complex tax issues, engaging directly with high-net-worth clients. Ideal candidates should be self-motivated and well-organized, with a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree. The firm offers a dynamic work environment with considerable client contact.
Chancery Court Tax Chambers is seeking applications from UK Chartered Tax Advisers with at least 3 years post qualified tax advisory experience. Full STEP membership (in England & Wales) would be desirable but not essential. Preference will be given to English LLB (or GDL) graduates.
Your experience should have been gained in a professional services firm, be it an accountancy practice, law firm, wealth management firm, a trust corporation or a family office. This role will not suit candidates seeking to take the first step away from a tax compliance role.

Key requirements :
Our clients include high and ultra-high net worth individuals, public figures, business owners and senior executives, trustees, funds and their professional advisers. The role will involve considerable direct client contact, so it is essential that you are experienced and comfortable in dealing with highly demanding clients (if direct access) and their advisers, who are typically solicitors, accountants, trustees and wealth managers.
You must have demonstrable experience in one or (ideally) more of the following areas
of UK taxation :
Please note that we typically receive a considerable volume of applications and the recruitment process therefore involves several stages, including an initial video interview and if successful, a detailed oral assessment in chambers comprising a real client case study with 30 minutes preparation time.
If you wish to apply for this role, please forward your CV and a cover letter outlining your experience, qualifications, and interest to thomas@barristers.tax. Due to the number of applications, we are unable to provide written feedback to unsuccessful candidates, so please kindly refrain from requesting this.
