Chartered Building Surveyor – Oxfordshire (Flexible / Hybrid Options)

£50,000 - £60,000 (or more for the right candidate) + Car Allowance + Package

A growing, well-established consultancy based in Oxfordshire is looking to add a CharteredBuilding Surveyor to their team – someone who’s confident providing professional advice across property and construction, with experience handling everything from large-scale refurbishment projects to detailed condition surveys.

You’d be working with a mix of clients including public sector bodies, healthcare, housing and heritage, taking on a genuinely varied workload – from PFI hospital projects to listed building restorations.

The role
  • Carry out detailed building surveys, specifications, defect analysis and condition reports
  • Advise clients on repair, maintenance and restoration options
  • Prepare design schemes, tender documents and oversee contractor appointments
  • Manage projects through to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
  • Liaise with clients and represent the business in meetings, helping to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Opportunity to work remotely for report writing and desk-based elements
About you
  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying (RICS accredited preferred)
  • Ideally MRICS or working towards chartership
  • Strong technical understanding and report writing ability
  • Confident working independently on site and managing multiple projects
  • Knowledge of fire risk assessments or public sector property portfolios would be an advantage
