Salary/Rate: £800-1000 inside IR35
Start Date: January 2026
Job Type: Initial 6 month contract

Company Introduction:
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector‑leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Senior Project Manager/Programme Manager to support a major Charles River implementation, with a specific focus on Charles River Dimension (CRD) and Charles River for Private Markets (CRPM).This role will play a key part in driving delivery within a complex private markets environment, supporting the rollout and integration of CRD/CRPM across the business.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:
The ideal candidate will bring strong domain knowledge within investment management, private markets, and front‑to‑back trading platforms. While deep technical expertise is not required, proven experience delivering projects involving CRD and/or CRPM is essential. Experience with Mercata AI is highly advantageous.

• Lead and manage the successful delivery of the Charles River CRD / CRPM implementation workstreams.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to define scope, manage timelines, and ensure successful integration.
• Oversee project governance, risk management, documentation, and reporting activities.
• Support operational readiness and ensure alignment between business, technology, and external partners.
• Coordinate on‑site sessions as needed in Wolverhampton.

Required Skills/Experience:
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Proven Project Manager with hands‑on experience delivering projects involving Charles River Dimension (CRD) and/or Charles River for Private Markets (CRPM).
• Strong understanding of investment management and private markets operating models.
• Experience working within regulated financial services or investment/asset management environments.
• Familiarity with Mercata AI is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and vendor‑management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced change environment with a focus on outcomes and delivery.
