Job summary

A leading national charity in the UK is seeking a Finance Assistant to support their Finance Department. The successful applicant will be responsible for daily bank reconciliations, managing the sales ledger, and assisting in credit control. This position comes with a salary up to £27,500 annually, excellent benefits including generous annual leave, and the option for flexible working patterns. Ideal candidates will have strong accounting knowledge and IT skills, particularly in Excel.

Qualifications

  • Good accounting knowledge either by qualification or experience.
  • Experience of working within a finance department/team is essential.
  • A positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Daily reconciliation of all charity bank accounts.
  • Sales Ledger management including raising invoices.
  • Credit Control and resolving any queries.

Skills

Good all round accounting knowledge
Highly numerate
Good attention to detail
Experience in a finance department/team
Positive can-do attitude
Team player
Excellent IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
