Overview

This post will be for Emergency / CEPOD / PRM Theatres GRI

Role details
  • Hours: 37 hours per week
  • Shift pattern: Day shift, night shift, weekends
  • This post is permanent
Responsibilities
  • Key responsibilities will be care planning, teamwork, clinical leadership, communication, carrying out policy and procedure and education/mentorship of staff/students.
  • This post supports 24/7 service delivery within the North Sector theatres and a flexible skill set is essential for this role.
  • You will be a team leader of a fast paced theatre with responsibility of managing patient care and staff within theatre to support a flexible service. You will work closely with the Senior Charge Nurse to achieve targets within the theatre department.
  • The expectation of the role would be to work flexible shifts if required; this may include day shift, night shift, weekends and out of hours emergency hub cover.
  • It is also essential you have evidence of continual development, IT skills, good communication skills and enthusiasm for working in a Theatre environment.
