Meadowfield is an acute mental health hospital in Worthing, we are part of Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. We have 3 wards at Meadowfield Rowan and Maple are for working age patients and Larch Ward is for patients over the age of 65. We also have a new POS (136 suite) which consists of a secure outdoor space, separate accommodation, assessment and office space. ECT and Neuromodulation services are also provided at Meadowfield as well as The Haven which is a 24/7 crisis assessment unit, providing an alternative to A&E to provide a comprehensive biopsychosocial crisis assessment for any adult aged 18 or over who is not subject to the Mental Health Act.

We are looking for experienced mental health nurses who are motivated, dynamic and forward thinking. You will have a commitment to maintaining and improving service user centered care to the highest standards. Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team you will be able to demonstrate sound communication and clinical skills and be willing to develop these. In return you will benefit from working in a therapeutic environment conducive to the treatment and recovery of people with acute functional mental health problems.
Skills and training will be fully utilised and developed through clinical supervision and training opportunities as well as Trust essential training and an Emerging Leadership Course. There are plenty of opportunities for career development.
