  • Create and maintain project documentation and records.
  • Conduct Site Safety Inspections.

Job description

CDM Consultant / Principal Designer required to join a Health and Safety Consultancy, working with a wide range of clients across many sectors including Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Leisure, Property, Rail, Residential and Retail.

You will support the delivery of CDM Consultancy Services on construction projects throughout the UK, which will require overnight stays of 2–3 nights per month. Your primary base of work will be the Derby office so you must be within a reasonable commuting distance

Duties include :
  • Ensuring full compliance with CDM Regulations and relevant health and safety legislation
  • Delivering expert health and safety advice and guidance to Clients
  • Acting as Principal Designer on construction projects
  • Assisting CDM duty holders in meeting their CDM and wider health and safety responsibilities
  • Creating, managing and maintaining all required project documentation and records
  • Conducting Site Safety Inspections
Qualifications

Degree in Construction or Health and Safety (or equivalent qualification)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

A full UK driving license

Experience

1-2 years’ experience in the Construction Industry with a strong understanding of CDM Regulations
