Job summary

A trusted healthcare organization in Scotland is seeking a part-time Catering Supervisor to manage daily operations within the catering department. Responsibilities include supervising staff, planning shifts, and delivering meal services to patients. The Role

To assist with the planning, organising and controlling of all activities within the catering department and associated areas, in accordance with Trust requirements.

This role will cover certain jobs like:

  • Control & organisation of shift , supervision of 25 staff
  • Cash control
  • Cover Annual leave
  • Rota planning & staff training
  • Delivering meal service to patients 3 times per day
  • Public and staff restaurant.

  • Past experience within a Catering Environment.
  • Knowledge of Systems and Processes. Example: HACCP
  • Knowledge of Nutrition & Dietetics

  • Fire Safety
  • Understanding and use of Information Technology.
  • Cash handling/ reconciliation.

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.

Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based in Catering within University Hospital Monklands.

The working pattern for this role will be variable, can include weekends.
