Job summary

A local charity is seeking a Catering Assistant to assist in food preparation and coordinate meals for the café and Meals on Wheels service. The role includes maintaining cleanliness, ensuring food safety, and promoting service quality. This temporary role offers up to 25 hours a week with varying hours, dedicated to delivering top-quality service in Belfast.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of food, including breakfasts, lunches, functions, and bakery goods.
• Ensure all food is stored correctly and temperatures recorded appropriately.
• Assist in delivering Meals on Wheels service.
• Maintain accurate records for Meals on Wheels & HACCP.
• Ensure delivery van and kitchen equipment are clean and properly maintained.
