Job Summary

Aramark UK is recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join the team at SGS Stroud College, Stratford Rd, Stroud GL5 4AH. This part‑time position requires 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, for 39 weeks during term time.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the preparation and serving of food in a busy canteen environment
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
  • Providing excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner
  • Supporting the catering manager and wider team during busy service periods
  • Helping ensure allergen procedures and health and safety standards are met
Qualifications

Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

  • Relevant cookery/culinary qualification is desirable; however, experience will also be considered.
  • Previous experience working within a school environment would be beneficial.
