Job summary

A health service organization in Mold is looking for a Catering Assistant. Job description

Department working hours are predominantly between 7:00am to 19:00pm, with weekend work and varied shift patterns including early, late,, Sunday and bank holidays. Pay rates increase for weekend and bank holiday hours.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high quality catering service to patients and staff within the Trust.
  • Work collaboratively within the kitchen team and serve food at ward level.
  • Share best practice and support ongoing development of catering services.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in varying shift and workload demands.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Level 2 food hygiene certificate (or willingness to work towards this).
  • Catering experience essential.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and on own initiative.
  • Welsh speaking desirable; Welsh and English speakers welcomed.
