A leading catering services provider is seeking a Catering Assistant for a term-time position in Leicester. The role involves preparing and serving food, providing customer service, and maintaining a clean dining area. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude and good communication skills. Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 3:00pm
Working Weeks: 36 working weeks per year, plus 4.328 weeks paid holiday
Salary: £12.21 per hour / £17,234.18 per annum
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Catering Assistant to join our busy catering team at WQE's Regent Road campus in Leicester. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment - with the benefit of regular weekday hours and no weekend or evening shifts.
You'll play a key role in the preparation and service of food, customer interaction, and ensuring our dining areas remain clean, welcoming, and well-stocked throughout the day. Full training is provided, and we encourage all staff to develop a wide range of skills across kitchen and front-of-house operations.
